Welcome to my ePortfolio!
My name is Kelly Shemansky. This ePortfolio serves as one of the final internship requirements for a major in Editing, Writing, and Media at the Florida State University. I have since graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a minor in Communications.
Throughout this internship, I worked under the supervision of Corporate Marketing Coordinator, Lisa Huffman, and Tallahassee General Manager, Adam Goodson, to develop new marketing strategies through online interaction with our customer base. As a Content Writing & Editing Intern, I was responsible for proposing, writing, and editing content for future publication on the corporate website at the discretion of the Corporate Marketing Coordinator. In addition to the need to create compelling articles and blog posts, it was also very important to reflect and maintain the company's spirit. Much of the contents of this ePortfolio serves as an arsenal of publishable pieces that the Corporate Marketing Director can use to inform, advertise, and interact with the customer base.
I have worked for the Tallahassee location of Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille for two years as the Local Store Marketing Coordinator, while also holding a bartending position. Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille, Tallahassee is one of five locations under Harry's of America, LLC.
